The first i Phone launched exactly nine years ago today on June 29, 2007. The first i Phone packed a puny 3.5-inch display with a 480 x 320-pixel resolution. That was actually pretty large compared to the competition, and it was years before A pple was willing to offer an even larger screen. The device also featured a paltry 128MB of RAM and came with just 4GB, 8GB or 16GB of storage.
