I think people already mentioned all. The one tool I believe essential is the one that help you find a right keywords/niche to target from the beginning.
Says if you try to rank for "Make money online", it might take you forever to rank your website. I often start by doing alot of research. Long Tail Pro keyword research tool should be the one I use.
