HI!I'm an Italian girl who lives in Rome, so i think i can answer your question better than anyone else :-)
Rome is a beautiful place to live in, but like any other big metropolis has its defects. One of these is the traffic. (Maybe you don't know that Italians at the wheel are so undisciplined,but this is just out of curiousity)Very often there are lot of traffic jams that paralyze the city and that makes us so nervous! Many times u can hear from a Roman inhabitant that Rome lacks of places to have fun, like cool clubs,discos etc..honestly my life in Rome it's not bad, i travel a lot and i must admit that italians are very sociable and talkative and my city is not that bad..and if you decide to spend some time here i think u'll really enjoy your stay and everytime you'll see the sights of Rome u'll remain astonished like i do even if i was born here :-)
