Both at the same time. Promote the affiliate products and services and use adsense to monetize your blog/website.
Doesn't matter how much traffic your site is getting or how targeted the visitors are...Not every viewer is going to convert into a buyer...So for that, monetize your niche money sites with adsense and make some good secondary income off of those who may click away anyway. All the best,
