For me when i feel depressed i tend to get really angry & that's when i try to ignore human contacts with anybody. To get out of this feeling i like to play video Games as it helps me channelize my anger & frustration. I see real people when i start my killing spree, Specially in games like GTA.

There are many ways to divert your mind when You're anxious or depressed. For example listen to music, talk to ur friends, do exercise, meditation etc etc
