How to reset windows password? - Site Owners Forums

The password reset disk is allowed to help you reset windows 7 password when you forget the password in Windows system. But if you forget to create such a disk, what should you do to regain access to your computer when you forgot windows 7 password? There is no need to worry about because you can know how to recover windows 7 password you lost with the help of Windows password recovery software.In a word, there are two ways for windows 7 password reset, manual way or using Windows password recovery software.

The password reset disk can be created when you set your password:
1. Insert a USB flash drive into an available USB port on your computer. Alternatively, insert a floppy disk into your floppy disk drive;
2. Click the "Start" button, and sel ect "Control Panel."
3. Click "User Accounts and Family Safety" from the Control Panel, and then Click "User Accounts".
4. Click "Create a password reset disk" on the left-pane of the User Accounts window
5. Click "Next" on the opening screen of the "Forgotten Password Wizard" window
6. Click your USB flash drive or floppy drive from the list of available devices and click "Next."
7. Enter your current password and click "Next." And then Click "Next" when the wizard shows process was completed and click "Finish."
Then, you have created the disk and can get windows 7 password reset.

if you forget password, that mean you can't open desktop and interact by control panel window. So I think the best idea is to bring it for pro engineer.
