First of all you should put google analytics and google webmaster in your blog and check. these things.
1. Average time spend by users. 2. Keywords for organic traffic. 3. Page visits in a session. 4. Bounce rate. these 4 tells the user engagement in your blogs. 1,2,3 should be high and 4 should be mostly 0. If you are not getting this try improving your blog categories. You should also see the technical blog written by users who are making to the first page of google. They will give you good idea. Some knowledge of SEO will help you in writing good blogs. thanks
