First, build links for inner pages of websites helps? Yes you have to do it, because Google and other search engines evaluates each single page and rank it if it better than other. So only good back-link profile of your home page is not enough. You have to build back-links for inner pages as well to rank them better

Second, back-links coming from inner pages helps or not? Yes, back-links pass the link juice which it has. Again it can't pass the link juice if it has not but the whole domain has.
