What is a sitemap?
A sitemap is associate XML file that lists all obtainable URLs for an internet site, along side extra info concerning every URL within the file. you must forever produce a sitemap for your web site. this may facilitate search engines crawl your website quicker and show additional content. straight away the quality sitemap format is XML, all major program use this format for sitemaps.

XML sitemap is used for crawlers and HTML sitemap is used for users who use it to understand in a better way.. and nice def. about sitemap, thanks for it

Sitemaps make navigating your site easier and having an updated sitemap on your site is good both for your users and for search engines.

Sitemap.xml is for search engine and sitemap.html or sitemap.php whatever your website build in any language, this sitemap is for user. The both Sitemap is more important.
