Bounce rate, technically refers to the amount of time a visitor spend on your webpage, if he or she read for long time then Bounce rate is low, vice versa.
It means that users are not engaging in your site for long time, there are various reasons for this: 1. The content quality and the information provided is not good. 2. The link from which they are landing on your webpage is not relevant with the topic.
