If you're buying services from odesk, there's 2 things I would recommend.
1) You know your stuff - you'll get lots of applicants from the very bottom of the tree to the top, and a whole lot more who think they're better than they are. 2) Always be specific - if someone advertises their skills as web developer/webdesigner/seo expert, the chances are they aren't great at any of the skills. |
