If the comments are NOFOLLOW then why do admin delete those? Because such comments will not harm, anyhow, those are spammy comments then such comments will do harm, so many authors used to remove comments. However, if a blog is active and with regular updates, I don't think comments will be deleted (In case your comment is not spam)
