What is 301 & 302 in seo ?

Hi masters,
What is 301 & 302 in seo, how important or help full in seo and in which activity this 2 are used please suggest?

This is use for some kind of redirection.. .There are two main kinds of redirects online; 301, 302

These are term used for redirect purposes. 301 is the case when page has been moved permanently and 302 is the case when it is moved temporary.

Both are different kind of redirection which are used to redirect site/webpages.

301 is permanent redirection. When you have changes your domain or rewrite any url with new name than you should use 301 redirect to redirect your all old domain/webpages to new domain/webpages.

302 is temporary redirection. It is not advisable to do that.

Google always recommend to do 301 redirect on your site..

301 and 302 both are redirection which means are given below:

301: Moved permanently,This and all future requests should be directed to the given URI.
302: Found, This is an example of industry practice contradicting the standard.
