By looking for keyword profitability, relevance, popularity and competition. You also need to check out for the scope of misspellings, LSI and long tail keywords.
When done manually, thorough keyword research is quite a time-consuming process...I use a tool called �Keyword Country� to find geographically active keyword lists with ease. It works for me...
