Is there any alternative to Google?
Most of the users are satisfied and excited about what they are getting from Google and it is undoubtedly the ruling the market of search engines. Has any one of you tried to search for another alternative to Google? Are there any other search engines that have yielded better outcome than Google? Have you used those search engines? I have a feeling that there is an existence of other search engines that are capable of producing better results than Google although Yahoo and Bing have not been able to touch Googles popularity. What are your vies on this issue of search engines?

The are some that believe blekko is a better alternative, but I don't think anything is better than Google especially with the popularity of Google. You can try blekko to see how it may fit.

I like Startpage.com. Doesn't track your IP address, no cookies either (so you get fresh searches each time).

Google has a strong algorithm and Google updates its algorithm frequently to give more relevant results for different search queries. I think there is no alternative of Google because none of the search engine gives as perfect result as Google gives.
