Three Way link Exchange structure is as below:-
A has page rank 5 (#1 Website) A.1 has page rank 3 (subdomain or blog of #1 Website) B has page rank 3 (#2 Website) Linking Structure:- B Links to A, (1st Link) A.1 Links to B, (2nd Link) A is main website of A.1 so it is natural linking (3rd Link) |

Both definitions are right. In first definition (A--> B --> c --> A) A, B, C all are different websites but A know to B and C. In Second definition (A--> B, C--> A) A has one more website then it post the link on B and keep the link of B on own other website or Blog. As BlazerD's example
