keyword planner, wordstream etc are good tools for performing keyword research, however, i suggest that apart from using these tools, you need to also try and use your brain. Think from the perspective of a potential customer to sort out which keyword he/she will be using to find a service that you are providing. Also, focus on the keywords that are being used by your competitors.
