You website looks like an article directory site. And it is not much attractive, no colors, no excitement. Put some life in the site.

I would add a gallery or slider or both will look alot better.

1) Idea is good but implementation suffers a bit
2) IMHO, gists should be a little bit more informative 3) Add some pictures 4) Page load is rather slow for such a simplistic design Think, that's all. Good luck with your project.
