Bookmarked. You are right Wiki is very complicated people need something that is not. Good job

You website looks like an article directory site. And it is not much attractive, no colors, no excitement. Put some life in the site.

I would add a gallery or slider or both will look alot better.

1) Idea is good but implementation suffers a bit
2) IMHO, gists should be a little bit more informative
3) Add some pictures
4) Page load is rather slow for such a simplistic design
