Grey Hat SEO is somewhere in the middle of white and black and if used by a professional, can still be effective. However, it’s safe to say that taking a grey hat approach is playing with fire if you’re not 100% sure of what you’re doing, it’s not something I would recommend.
Grey hat consists of techniques such as: Cloaking Purchasing old domains Duplicate content Link buying Social media automation and purchasing followers

Grey Hat SEO: Grey hat SEO (not white and not black but gray) is a technique that does not fully use the second technique above, or maybe combine of two. Perhaps this is also the transformation from white to black or black to white. It could be argued, this technique is a technique that uses black hat techniques to achieve results in white hat.

Grey hat SEO combination of white hat SEO and Grey hat SEO, because by using these techniques, it is somewhat like following some of the protocols of the Google which are in the limit of SEO's. In this we don't use totally black hat SEO to rank any website. Grey Hat SEO is also a good practice to rank any website in the search engine.
