Search engines analyze the anchor text people use when linking to websites to see how authoritative a website is on various topics. Websites are more likely to rank high in search results for keywords related to them.

Anchor text is a hyperlink to a website/URL, primarily intended to drive traffic to said website. Bloggers use it often by indexing relevant keywords while posting articles.

Anchor text is the clickable hyperlink which you may find on any website. For example, if you see the comments of people then you could also see theirs "about me" section which has hyperlinks. The single word or phase which is containing this hyperlink is called anchor text.

The blue, underlined anchor text is that the most typical because it is that the net normal, though it's doable to alter the colour and underlining through hypertext markup language code.
