I think it's defense about " backlinks" .
I have some study about this. I use 2 website to do this.

1st website, i Just linked Social network and some PBN.

you can visit 2 my website to read valua of them:

1.Thenewcoupons.com
2.chungcu-gelexiariverside.com

You will seen that: 2nd website have more valua DA,PA and UR, DR and 2st lower.

But have a warning: if you use tool to up rank your website, be careful. You can be Penguin GG find and have some spam cores. This not good for SEO your website.

backlink directory or the like is not as easy as it used to get it, but it does give effect to rengking in google

Forget about MOZ or ahrefs. This is the reason why google stopped ranking sites, because people are focusing more on it and not improving the site overall.
