Original content. Keep outputting original contents, will help you in unimaginable ways. One good way to reproduce high originality is curation: make check lists, organize important resources together, etc.

Backlinks. Everyone know about this, but I doubt a lot people are holing the wrong concepts. The most important 2 points to remember is: relevance and natural. Don’t spam, Google is smarter than you.(The have AlphaGo now LOL)

Authority. The average page view times and period, how many times you’re quoted by other channels(news, prs, medias, etc.), are all the signs of your authority.

Social exposures. It’s not clearly listed in Google’s White Paper, but more and more evidences show that Google are including this as consideration, when compare two similar sites, but one is mentioned a lot in Social Networks, while the other is not.
