Is Directory Submission still working ?

Currently, my focus is on link building strategies. But I got little query about the Directory Submission. Is Directory Submission still working ?

Directory submission gives you good backlink and traffic if we submit in a proper category or subcategory.

Directory Submission is not worthful and also do not do it for link building purpose.

Yes, directory submission still effective but you should choose high DA & PA sites per better ranking, you should choose a proper category. never submit to spammy directories it will down your site's rank.

It takes a long time to convert a backlink so it is not worthful process.
