Yes, as LinkedIn is mainly build for Business and profession only. You must share strong content in LinkedIn and try to make your profile strong.
Make your post or content such that it becomes easy for people to share and comment on your post.
It is little difficult to get huge traffic on few minute because it is not possible unless you work hard.

Join groups related to your business and your interests and participate in discussions there for increased exposure. Discussion participation can help establish you as an expert in your field. Don't spam the groups as you'll run the risk of getting tossed out. You'll also tarnish the reputation of your business.
