A stock marketis also known as share market or Equity market and this is a loose network of economic transactions, not a discrete entity or physical facility.

HOW THIS WORKS :-
The stocks issued can be traded by the investors in the secondary market. This is where most part of the trading happens. In this market, buyers and sellers gather to make transactions to make profits or cut losses.Brokerage firms & Stock brokers are entities registered with the stock exchange.
