SEO for sure. So far as I have noticed advertising on social media sites doesn't bring you as much traffic as increasing your SEO results. However, it is pretty important to have profiles on social media sites as well - this increase trust and engagement in most of the cases. So I'll better concnetrate on my SEO results but would stay in touch with my fans on social media as well.
