Most real estate developers would like to enter into either residential arena or commercial one,
as these are easier to construct and sell to the generic buyers.

People generally relate the term real estate with house purchase when it consist of several types of property investment including residential apartments, commercial properties, land purchase, rental properties etc.

Possible returns of investing in commercial versus residential property on rent..
The rental yield for commercial property is usually 9-12%. In contrast, the yield for residential property is much lower at 3-4%.
