I do still directory for new website. But not any more.

You can still Post link in directory but having a good pr and some link values. the impact of directories are reduces for seo campaigns.

Directory Submission is useful if you submit your website is relevant directory submission website. And always submit in high PR Directory Website.

Directory submission is helpful to getting traffic, but i think its not helpful for indexing your site on search engine.

ya that important part in seo, where it is a 4 th step, you have to subit your website to top dirctory bec directory gets pr late bec it has many extornal links
