In search engine optimization (SEO) terminology Inbound link is the same as backlink.Inbound links send visitors to your web site. Generally, this is seen as a good thing. Many sites go to great lengths to achieve as much of this "free" advertising as possible, although a few sites are very particular about where the links are pointing.

When any other website gives your website link with hyperlink on your keywords that's called Inbound Linking..In simple language when any website refer your website that's called Inbound Linking...Am I right guys??

On your own website when you redirect your links of your website or go to others pages of your website its called Inbound link, its also known as Internal Links.

Inbound linking refers to site links from external websites and blogs. These links channelize traffic into your site from an external source. Inbound linking does affect SEO , if you have relevant outbound links to quality sites it can actually help your own performance in the search engines.

Link building is extremely good for SEO and is desirable hence to make inbound linking work for you, you must post unique content, add testimonials customer quotes and also submit content to only relevant and top directories.
