With Bait and Switch hacking, hackers gain access to the sites and start publishing spam content based on the topics that are normally irrelevant and uncovered by the site itself. Even the sites that are being hacked are not aware about the existence of these pages.

With this hacking method, the hackers are expecting to leverage the authority of the sites that they hack. Their idea is that publishing such content on the existing sites can provide better results than the content posted on the new website.
