Alteration in vocal tones and variations are always loved by the children. This help them to know about natural sound of a language. Through rhymes, kids are introduced to new words. This adds new words to their vocabulary. Also, they can learn how sounds blend together to form a word. This will help them in playing with words. When we recite a rhyme slowly and clearly, children catch the words and the way they are pronounced. This helps them pronouncing the words in a correct way. Moreover, it is also a great way to develop their phonic skills from an early age.

Singing or reciting nursery rhymes help in improving kids social skills. During the song, kids sit next to one another and hold hands. It is a great opportunity for the preschoolers to get to know their peers.

Children will learn a lot while singing the songs. But adults need to take care of few things while singing a rhyme to little kids. Sing the songs slowly, so that kids can join you and sing along.
