CAT 2018 (General Admission Test) is an entrance examination at national level for admission to IIMs and other top B schools for the academic session 2019-20. Each year, one of the IIM's CAT organizes for admission to MBA and PGDM programs by leading business schools in India. IIM Calcutta is expected to be the convener for CAT 2018.

The official examination date for CAT 2018 is published on the official website. The detailed notice and application form for CAT 2018 is expected to be available only in the month of July-August. CAT Application form can only be filled in online mode.

CAT Exam is performed in online mode (computer-based test).
The question paper for CAT consists of 3 sections - VARC, DILR and Quant. A total of 100 questions must be attempted in 180 minutes. Check the RK 2018 examination pattern
Nearly 70% questions in CAT will probably bear negative points of 1/3 points.
IIM Calcutta is spotted to invest RAT almost after a gap of 6 years.
IIM Kozhikode and IIM Bangalore are also two major contenders for the organization of CAT 2018.
TCS - Tata Consultancy Services will be the testing agency for CAT
CAT 2018 Registration fee for General Candidates is INR 1900 and INR 1000 for reserved category candidates.
There is no additional application fee to apply for the 50 management programs offered by the leading 20 IIMs (Indian Institute of Management) in the country.
In addition to the IIMs, other top MBA colleges in countries such as FMS Delhi, SPJIMR Mumbai, MDI Gurgaon, IMI New Delhi, JBIMS Mumbai, IMT Ghaziabad, etc., also accept. CAT scores to recognize candidates in the various management programs they offer.
