If your posts on Google plus are private, then that + don't count for indexing in search results. Well the public posts gets notified quite faster to index in Google Search Results.

As long as your posts are set to public, and your profile is set to indexable (the "search visibility" setting on your profile), then you shouldn't have to do anything to have your Google+ content indexed by Google.
