Why is my computer running so slow and how do I fix this? Over the last two days, I have noticed that my computer/internet is running very slow. It takes much more time to load a web page and it often freezes for around a minute.

Test a different modem/router.
Scan for viruses.
Check for on-system interference.
Check your filters.
Try getting rid of your cordless phone.
Check for external interference.

First of all do disk cleanup, if problem arises again then scan for viruses and remove them and if problem arises again then format and re-install your window.

Test an alternate modem/switch.

Examine for infections.

Check for on-framework impedance.

Check your channels.

Take a stab at disposing of your cordless telephone.

Check for outside impedance.
