I would recommend Hostnamaste.com to anyone and also do as I build websites for people and often use their hosting. The sales process was super quick and nice and the account was setup and running within 20 mins. I have been with them for about a year.

Try their openvz vps hosting.

As I know hostingsource.com and libertyvps.net VPS accounts are considered to be the best in this realm.
They have set the bar high for other hosting out there and it will be extremely hard to beat. I have finally found hosting companies that I will be a life-long customer with.

So far, Exmasters.com is my favorite. My VPS was up and running within 12 hours. Their support replies within seconds. Best of all, my site is noticeably more responsive.

The system itself is rock solid and the software & features are excellent.

The most impressive aspect of Hostingsource.com is the reaction time for technical queries.
I've had a few, since I'm a total beginner at this, and I am in a time zone at least 8 hours different from the location of their servers. Anytime I needed a question answered they provided quick and knowledgeable answer and help.

I think that the tech side for the VPS account is an important part and you need to have it for as cheaper as possible rates.
