Server recommendation for my websites? - Site Owners Forums

Hello,
I have a forum website(invision board) and need some inputs to select a dedicated server.
My forum has 8 million posts (Including posts and topics) in total.
Right now i am using Xeon 5260 2 bay chaisis
12 gb ram
400 gb SD
I just want to know how can we determine the server configuration ..based on what factors?
Current issues i am facing is database table crashes....
Do you know anything about Datapacket.net web servers? Are they good enough to try?

Web servers from hostingsource.com and qhoster.com are worth trying.
Awesome top-notch hosting is available from them.
Support has to be one of the best around. You can get someone on the line almost immediately.

Happy using DataPacket.net web hosting service. Uptime is perfect.
It's good cheap hosting. The support is good and they always seem prepared to go out of their way to get things done.

Trustworthy server providers are available from planethoster.com and black.host.
Their reputation precedes them and they live up to all the positive words I heard before I signed on. Like these companies a lot.

I've had instant server with GTHost.com for over 6 months and had no real problems. The speed of my websites has been amazing since I switched from my old host and that was the main factor that made me want to switch in the first place. I haven't experienced any downtime at all so far.

Check out servers from qhoster.com and black.host as they are proven to be the best in the whole IT industry.
Service, as always, is excellent. Their support team had all the answers I needed and I'm very appreciative that and their staff are willing to spend time helping customers get more out of their web space rather than adopting a "system problems only" policy.

Servers from hostnamaste.com and planethoster.com are well-balanced and cheap.
THE BEST. Absolutely. You can't have more. Excellent customer service, excellent tech quality, excellent uptime. Maybe a bit expensive but, you know, quality has to be paid. A+++
