Music niche-failing to get good alexa rank - Site Owners Forums

Hey, guys!

since my niche is not the common blogging or tech I don't have many resources available to grow traffic for music blogs!

We have to reach under 1 lakh so we are accepted by the advertising company for promotion! we are trying for ranking, we don't wish to earn from google ads etc!

RANKING is the main criteria for us!

I am impressed by your site design !!! What a loaded site ! Nice.

In face your alexa stats are showing that you already have 4000+ daily viewers !! I'm sure it is just a matter of time and you will cross your desired goal.

Some pointers:
- Create a facebook page for your site and start a facebook campaign. You will have to roughly spend some 100Rs per day for 30 days, your will get about 50-90 likes per day this will boost your site's visibility.
- I am very new to website building, however in fast few weeks one most important thing I learned is to make website SEO optimized. It is utmost essential !!
- You can also submit your content to stumbleupon

Hi,

One more thing, you may consider to re-move the right side 'More stories' pop-up on the post pages. It is kind of annoying to the readers. Right sidebar gets completely covered by that pop-up and I cannot access it unless I close the pop-up.

Speaking from a music blog experience avoid load times associated with php. The faster your site loads the better rankings and general user experience everyone has.
