The movie informs the story of a litttle lady, Riley (Voice of Kaitlyn Dias), who is compelled to shift from New york to San Francisco with her mother and father (Voices of From Road and Kyle MacLachlan). Curiously though, that’s not the primary centerpiece of the story, for most of it actually occurs in Riley's go, where we adhere to the emotions that “control” her: Joy (Voice of Amy Poehler), Unhappiness (Voice of Phyllis Smith), Worry (Voice of Invoice Hader), Rage (Voice of Lewis Black), and Outrage (Voice of Mindy Kaling). Their job is to stability her emotions the best they can so that nothing bad happens to her, which only becomes more challenging when she has to shift to a new house, away from all her buddies on her tennis group.
