Best way of doing is to build quality back-links based on the theme of your website. Do not spam at all and remove suspicious links from your link profile also clean up your code and implement proper on-page without any stuffing etc.

Internal linking
Speed up your site
Build links, but not to the page that dropped in rankings
Update your web page
Increase your click-through rate
Optimize your design
Increase your social shares

There is no way you can control its position on SERP, but there is way to optimize it based on search engine guidelines for it to be rankable on SERP.

Have good internal linking, update blog frequently, update content if not good, build more quality back links.

Post your articles, one every few days, to Ezine Articles.
Find relevant directories to submit your site to.
Reread about anchor text
Or hire some expert from SEOclerks.
