Defining the differences between SEM and SEO has always been the issue discussed in blogs and forum sites I have cared to visit. Being in the online business for quite some time now, there are things I want to share to you and I would really appreciate if you'd consider them. Well, as far as I understand, SEO is basically about making a website highly visible and strategically operated online. While SEM, on the other hand, is about marketing products of online businesses in specific niche.

SEO is the process of improving the visibility of we pages or websites in the search engine results page(SERP), whereas SEM is the process of promoting the websites or products through online to gain traffic in search engine.

In my point of view SEO means that your website get a reasonable rang in search engine and SEM means that how much you promoting your site by using of social media site like FACEBOOK, TWITTER, AND LINKEDIN. LINKEDIN is best.
