If you let professionals care for your hair, they would know your type of hair because of their training and experience. When they do recommend a shampoo for you, it usually is the best kind for your hair. For instance, slightly dry hair would need a mild shampoo and the professional would also give you the right formula. Salon shampoo is more expensive because of their expensive ingredients. This is why it is priced at a premium over supermarket shampoo. It would likely give you results too. However, the wrong salon shampoo would be a waste of money. Whatever shampoo you want to buy, it is important that you be able to identify your hair type first. It is up to you which type of shampoo you would choose.
