Google only uses white hat SEO tactics because it is the only way to go for successful SEO, according to Ali Husayni, the CEO of Master Google. Husayni said to heed the warning of Google�s anti-spam strategy as your rankings will rise and fall accordingly to how well you implement the correct SEO strategies.

Search engines are for the users.So google will try to get the best results for users. IF we gonna illegal methods to rank high that will upset the users and in-turn they will stop using the search engine.

White hat seo started when google declared their strategy publicly. People started using them for ranking high on google search. so if you are not following that tactic and involve in spamy process then it will not going to help you to rank high. so better keep attach with webmasters guideline.

Google likes to work with discipline in matters pertaining to SEO. Therefore it comes as no surprise that Google appreciate an ethical method of functioning. Any method that manipulates or tries to cheat the system into giving better ranking results are considered black hat.
