Open Graph protocol is a method of including meta information in a web page to allow Facebook to represent the page's content when it is linked to in Facebook.

Open graph protocol is a protocol (i.e. set of rules) which is used to integrate any web page into the social graph. For example Facebook can be your social graph or social circle. Once the web page is integrated it behaves like the object of the social graph (facebook) i.e. it has same functionality as a facebook page.

Open graph protocol could be a protocol (i.e. set of rules) that is employed to integrate any website into the social graph. maybe Facebook is your social graph or social circle. Once the net page is integrated it behaves just like the object of the social graph (facebook) i.e. it's same practicality as a facebook page.

The Open Graph protocol enables how information travels from a third-party website to Facebook when a page is shared (or liked, etc.).

The official definition of the Open Graph protocol indicates that this is a protocol which allows a web page to become a "rich" object in a social network.
