Grab a shaker and shake some salt onto your dry scalp. Then work it through your hair, giving your scalp a massage. you will find you've got discovered the dry, flaky skin and area unit prepared for a shampoo. The abrasiveness of standard flavorer works nice for cleansing out dandruff flakes before you shampoo.

Ketoconazole based shampoos work brilliantly for removing dandruff. My daughter used one for 2 months and then she complaint of having too much dry hair. So, she came up with the solution of oiling hair first before shampoo and then use the ketoconazole based shampoo.

I highly recommend a medicated shampoo in Pakistan. It is "Selsun Blue" Shampoo which I personally used and found very effective in dandruff and hair fall due to dandruff.
