I am looking for .edu and .gov forums where I can get backlinks. I searched in google and didnt find much. Can someone please post list of sites here.

You can simply use Google Advanced Search tool and asign your specific word and targeted location. I hope you'll get many results.

First we need to understand that basic rules of forum posting. First website relevancy and second is signature links. This two factors are important in forum posting. And building backlinks on .gov and .edu sites is very very difficult task. Bacause this domains are educational and governmental function. So don't waste your time on this task. Create your backlinks structure on normal website like v7n is the good forum site
