Page Rank is the reputation of the any webpage on Google. It tends to 1 to 10. 1 is minimum and 10 is maximum.

Page Rank is an algorithm used by Google Search to rank websites in their search engine results. Page Rank was named after Larry Page, one of the founders of Google. Page Rank is a way of measuring the importance of website pages. Page Rank works by counting the number and quality of links to a page to determine a rough estimate of how important the website is. The underlying assumption is that more important websites are likely to receive more links from other websites.

I have always wondered about that. I know there are algorithms involved, but could they just say something like: if your websites gets 1 million hits a day you get a PR1 and 10 million visitors a day a PR10 or something like that.

Page rank is google's technique used to check how important any webpage is. Page rank is given in the name of Larry page (one of the founder of google). Page rank measures between 1 to 10.Higher page rank is better for any website.
