Consistency
The colours, fonts and layouts of all the pages of your website must have a certain amount of consistency. When users move from one page of your site to another, they should feel a smooth flow rather than an abrupt change. Thus, you must keep the colour, font and layout of your site basically same for all your pages, with changes only in the other elements on the pages.
