Hashtags are used to classify or categorize posts in different categories so that the posts can be found by making the use of relevant hashtags.
The messages/posts are grouped under one hashtags. For example, If we are using a hashtag #flowers and if someone searches for that hashtag then it will retrieve all the posts under that hashtag
