LSI is the abbreviation for Latent Semantic Indexing. This is a system used by Google and other major search engines like Bing and Yahoo. The algorithm/system crawls through websites/pages and indexes (locates and takes note of) the most common words on those pages. Often times, this will be the name of the company, organization, individual, or association. Other things liked to LSI and SEO are online reputation management and reserve search engine optimization.
